Pranam APJ- Tribute to Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam


Prominent socio – cultural organization Seva Darshan Kuwait held a condolence and tribute programme in memory of Late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, India’s eleventh President, prominent scientist and thinker. The programme was attended by various Indian associations and members of the public.

The programme held ay 1000AM on 31st of July 2015, at the Indian Embassy auditorium became an emotional display by the Indian community for one of India’s favourite son.

The chief guest of the programme was the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, H. E. Shri. Sunil Jain and the event was presided by Seva Darshan president Shri. Ajayakumar. Over 25 organizations were represented at the event.

Anil Kumar (Kuwait Engineers Forum), Shri. C. A. Mathew ( Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Kuwait Chapter ), Shri. Satish chandra Shetty ( Art of Living ), Shri. Dr, Biji Thomas ( Santhwanam Kuwait), Shri. Sharafudeen Kannoth ( Kerala Muslim Cultural Center ), Shri. Hamza Payannur ( Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association ), Shri. Dr. Pratap Unnithan ( Toast master Club), Shri.Faisal.K.V(Kerala Islamic Group ), Shri. N. C. Mohandass ( Indian Frontliners ), Shri. Madhavankutty Menon ( Amma Kuwait ), Shri. G. K. Ramakrishnan ( Shristi Fine Arts ), Shri. Rajpal Tyagi ( Satkaar Kuwait ), Shri,Prasanth Nair ( Science International Fourm ), representatives of Yuva Darshan Kuwait and Bala Darshan Kuwait paid tributes at the event.

A resolution was presented by Seva Darshan General Secretary, Shri. Sanjuraj at the event, to carry forward the dreams of Dr. Kalam and to strive to make them a reality. Dr, Roopesh welcomed the audience and Shri. Vibheesh Tikkodi gave the vote of thanks.

Floral tributes to Dr. Kalam’s portrait were paid by the attendees and they left their comments later in the official condolence book at the Embassy
